LOST season 3 potential...
This story has some of the possibilities the 3rd season of Lost has in store for us. I'm still giddy about last night's finale. With the addition of Henry Gale as a major player among the Others, seeing more of them and what their deal is on the island will be exciting to see. I don't know what it is about this show that has me so wrapped up in it. Maybe it's just as simple as the best and worst humanity has to offer when people are faced with rather dire situations. And the dashes of science fiction thrown in are really nice too.
NBC's 2006-07 Primetime Schedule
With the news that NBC finished 4th this season in primetime viewing, it looks like they are changing next season's schedule. The only 2 shows that appeal to me are Heroes on Monday nights that I talked a little bit about in an earlier post and The Office on Thursday nights that's on an hour earlier next season. My wife will be glad that she can watch The Office and then Grey's Anatomy after that all in one night if ABC's schedule stays the way they're planning. The Office is by far the best network comedy on the air right now. There is not a single sitcom on right now that I could honestly sit through other than The Office. I wish I would have taken the time to follow My Name is Earl but I didn't. There's always the DVD when it's released.

LOST season finale...
My gosh. How good was that finale? It asked as many new questions as it answered old ones. I really didn't know what direction the series would be able to take while watching this episode but this fall can't get here soon enough. I really enjoyed Desmond's backstory. It's just too bad we didn't get any glimpses as to what happened to him, Locke and Mr. Eko. There really hasn't been an hour-long series on TV that I've enjoyed as much as I have this. I've linked to TV Squad's review above. They always have good dissections of current and past episodes as well as anything and everything to do with television.
X-Men: The Last Stand reviews...
Ain't It Cool News has a handful of reviews for the 3rd X-Men movie and none of them have much good to say. It's been hard to remain optimistic about this. I was pretty gung-ho, especially after seeing the trailers and clips online. I had some reservations about the look of Colossus but he probably won't get enough screen time. I still plan on seeing it this weekend but I'll skip the midnight showing and then find a comic to see how it should be done. It's too bad the "last" X-Men movie had to be the worst one.

Ghost Rider trailer
Check out this very cool Ghost Rider trailer. It really shows what Ghost Rider is going to look like. I was never a big Ghost Rider fan. The motorcycles and renegade thing never really got my attention but last years mini-series started out pretty good and got me up to date on him. Hopefully this movie isn't too far out there that it can't pull in a decent audience. The same guy that did Daredevil is directing this so hopefully he's been able to make some storytelling improvements since then. I did like Daredevil though. It's just that it could have been so much more, like Fantastic Four. The other downer is that it doesn't come out until February 16. X-Men, Superman and the Blade televison series is going to have to keep us comic geeks afloat for a while.
