I went to see M:I3 over the weekend. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's definitely worth checking out and a good way to start the summer movie season. While I know some short-sighted people won't go because Tom Cruise is crazy, that's just juvenile. Hardly ever do I go to a movie because a certain movie star is in it.
Other movies I'm looking forward to this summer (in no particular order):

• The DaVinci Code
• X-Men: The Last Stand
• Superman Returns
• Nacho Libre
• An Inconvenient Truth
• The Promise
• Cars
• Clerks II
• Miami Vice

Now I know there are others very worthy of seeing but these are the ones on my for sure list. Being a comic geek, I'm really stoked about X-Men and Superman. I can't really say which one I'm more excited about but if I had to pick, it'd be X-Men because I'm more of a team player rather than flying solo. Seeing a dozen different mutants using their powers onscreen just kicks butt. But I must say I've read some really good Superman stories as well as Batman.
So this summer looks to be a good one no matter what your tastes are.
