The Office
This is one of my favorite shows on TV and 1 of the few I never miss. It's much funnier than a lot of what's on network TV right now. I know there are those that hate it because they're faithful to the British version but who cares. Take this for what it is on its own merits and just enjoy it. The characters are great. It's hard not to feel bad for Jim, Pam and even Ryan. As painful as it seems to be, I would work in an office like that. Being witness to someone like Dwight would be priceless.
Pick up season 1 on DVD and then jump into season 2 once the Olympics are over. You'll be glad you did.

I'm one of those British-version faithful... also love the Ricky Gervais podcast, (via here) but I go crazy trying to figure out if Karl is an actor or not.
I agree that this might be one of the funniest television shows on right now. Michael is someone that you enjoy watching and Dwight is a piece of work. If I can't see the show because of other obligations I make sure to have my husband tape it so we can both enjoy it together. When is the next new episode?
